Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy reading over my posts. Most of these posts are just about my day, or something exciting that may have happened. It could also be about a competition, either an Acro one, or a cheer one. Thanks:)

2011 Junior Olympic National Championships
At the end of July, I left Fresno to go to San Jose to attend the J.O National Championships for acrobatic gymnastics. Gymnasts from all of the US came to San Jose to compete here. Kennedy and I competed and got a 25.4, but we both agree that it was definitely our best routine yet. We also resulted in getting 4th(1st place ribbonists;]) This was only my second Nationals ever and it was better than the last! Nationals was tons of fun and I look forward to many more Nationals to come! Thanks again!
Regionals
This year at the 2011 Regional Championships my partner Kennedy and I won 1st as a pair out of 4 competitors. We did our best routine yet and ended up with a 26.1 which is my personal best score ever! Our team, Acro BEAT, one 1st as well for the level 7 award. It was all very exciting. I also got my 3 year acro pin for being in acro for 4 years, so next year I will be able to get my 5 year pin. :) yay!!! Thanks for reading!

ATA Mini Meet Results
Alrighty, well I just got back yesterday (Saturday) from my most recent competition. This meet was where we had to get a 20 or higher to qualify for states. Thankfully, we succeeded and ended up with a total score of 24.15 which is our highest score yet!!! We also ended up in 1st place! :) There was only one other group competing against us, but still, I'm happy :] Our artistic score was an 8.3 which is extremely high! All in all, I am just so thankful that we qualified. My mom has definitely helped me the most throughout these last few competitions this year. So thank you so much Momma;) and Happy Mother's Day!!! Thanks for reading,

1st Three Competitions
So, I'm almost halfway through my acrobatic gymnastics competition season. This is the dealio. I had my first competition in San Jose, where Kennedy(my partner) and I scored a 19 (not so good :[ ) and ended up in third(last). So we didn't qualify at that competition. The next competition was held in Livermore where we scored another high 19!!! AARRGGHH!!! It was so frusterating, but we took my mom's advice, to look at the score and see what we can improve on for the next competition. The third competition was at Diamond Springs up in El Dorado Hills. That was TONS of fun, especially since we got to stay with my mom's old college roommate Karen and her family for almost 5 days! We had a blast there :] Kennedy and I finally pulled through and ended up with a 23.95 which is not only a state qualifying score, it is also a regional and NATIONAL qualifying score!!!!!!! It took us almost an hour to finally stop smiling after seeing our score. So thankful! (Thank you God!!! Couldn't have done it without Him) So that's the scoop so far. We have our last qualifying meet this Saturday from 9 in the morning, until 9:30 at night. I am going to go with Kennedy and her mom to this meet, up and back one day. It will be a very, VERY long day. I really hope we can continue our qualifying score so we can make it all the way to Nationals. Please wish the both of us luck at the next competition. :] Thank you for reading!

My Acro Trio Picture to the Right
This is a picture of my level 7 trio from Regionals held in Perris.
That day (in June, awhile ago) We had just gotten my sister her Mustang. So we decided to Drive early in the morning in her Mustang. Well, we get on the freeway and realized we missed our exit. In acro, you usually have a 30 minute warmup,to practice our skills, individuals, and tumbling passes. I ended up missing the whole warmup. So, we had to do everything, after the warmup in the back of the stage right before we went on. We ended up having 5 competitors(our most out of the whole season so far) so it was a real big deal. I was extremely sad i missed my warm up in fear we wouldn't do well when we competed. But, we actually ended up being silver medalists!!! We were all shocked. But that routine was by far the best of the whole seasons!
Sincerely,
Morgan Scheidt:)

Perris vs, Paris
So yes, I am staying in Perris (pronounced: PARIS:)) BUT not Paris on the other side of the world. This Perris is down by Riverside, CA. It has been pretty good so far. I got second today for my trio routine:) out of six other competitors, so not too bad:)
