A Summer to Die by Lois Lowry is a heart pounding, 150 page novel. Meg, the main character, has some problems when she finds herself moving, since her father needs a quiet town to finish writing a book. Another problem Meg runs into is arguing with her sister Molly, well that is until Molly ends up being taken to the hospital. In this novel, Meg is forced to overcome so many hardships and obstacles, like: building a dark room, preparing to help her neighboors have a baby, and not knowing if her sister will ever return from the hospital. One of the BEST books I have read, and a book I'd reccomend to ANYBODY looking for a heart warming story!
