This 139 page book is about a little girl named Winnie Foster. Natalie Babbit writes this wonderful book, and it is so great! When Winnie Foster runs to her woods, she finds a boy, Jesse, and a spring. She finds herself kindly kid-napped, learns about a secret spring that can make you live forever, and is forced to watch one of her new friends be told she will be sent to the gallows. This unbelievable book will make any reader want to cry, laugh, and keep on reading. This is definitely a book that every 6th grader in Fresno Unified should read. Prepare for a heartwarming story as Natalie Babbit takes you on an adventure no one could forget.
