2nd quarter Holes Quickie blog

In this 272 paged book called, Holes by Louis Sacher is about Stanley Yelnets who was accused of stealing a pair of shoes. He gets the choice of jail or Camp Green Lake, and of course chooses Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake sounds like a warm, sunny lake... but it's the exact opposite. The boy's jobs there are to build character by digging holes in the at least 100 degrees. Stanley finds life at camp hard and meets some new "friends." Everything was on schedule until Stanley realized that the Warden wasn't having them dig for character, but to find something.
